Nordic NEST is supported by MOIN Filmf\u00f6rderung Hamburg Schleswig-Holstein and the Five Nordics \u2013 an association of the Danish Film Institute, Finnish Film Foundation, Icelandic Film Centre, Norwegian Film Institute, and Swedish Film Institute. Germany’s Filmf\u00f6rderungsanstalt (FFA) is also on board as a partner, and the kick-off meeting in Hamburg is being organized jointly with the German Production Alliance.
At the heart of NORDIC NEST is the five-day NEST Space on the Baltic Sea coast of Schleswig-Holstein: in January 2026, ten established writers \u2013 half from Germany and half from the Nordic countries \u2013 will develop new projects there. The NEST Space is designed by Le Groupe Ouest, one of Europe’s most innovative initiatives for screenplay development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
